You would think a mother would choose her kids over an abusive and controlling man, but not mine. You would think a mother would actually act like an adult and not a child, but not mine. You would think a mother would listen to her family when they have told her over a million times that she’s making the wrong choices in life. You would think a mother would listen to her daughter after the first time she told her that that man touched her in the places his hands should have never been in the first place, oh but not mine.
